The Lloyd Jacket made me a glowing legend (eventually)
Well, it took me a little longer than usual to hop on here and write a review for the rain jacket I bought.....yes, the Lloyd Jacket....and here’s my take.
I’d been hunting for something lightweight, rainproof, and easy to stash away. Then I stumbled upon this jacket. And it’s fantastic. The only reason I’m late with this review? I had to wait for an actual rainy day when I was out on my bike. You know, dramatic testing conditions.
Today was that day.
It wasn’t a downpour, but at one point the skies gave me a solid attempt at a shower, and the jacket held up like a champ. But the real highlight? A guy driving by rolled down his window and asked where I got it. because, in his words, “When my headlights hit you, you lit up like a human glow stick.”
So yeah. Highly visible. Possibly radioactive. I’m into it.
Beyond the glow-up, the jacket is super comfortable and fits my body perfectly. I mostly use it for cycling, so I’d love to see a bike specific version down the road... but hey, I’m not gonna get picky when something works this well. This jacket is wonderful in every way, and it looks great too. I’ve already gotten a few compliments, so consider me satisfied.
I’ll definitely be a returning customer if they drop more styles or upgrades. And honestly? I’ve got to support Canada and Canadian product. Even if that means glowing in the dark like a friendly roadside beacon.

Just tested my new jacket out! Heavy rain was no problem. I was dry and warm underneath. Great for visibility as well. Lots of nice features like velcro around the wrists and cinches around the hips so you can really ensure a watertight fit!
I live in the West End. We get weather! I like to get my steps in, rain or shine (more rain than shine fall, winter and spring) this jacket does what no other has. Im dry, I stay dry AND I am seen!!!! Great product! Got the hat too just cause it's so darn cute (summer wear)!
We love our Lloyd jackets. The colour is afabulous shade of soft gray by day and really reflects well at night. My husband and I each got one and they’re perfect for taking our dog for a walk on those rainy nights. Highly recommend the Lloyd jacket.c
The Lloyd jacket has been great so far. The quality feels really good, and the visibility makes walking the dogs at night feel a lot safer. The waterproofing has also been very effective and has kept me dry in the rain.
I ordered a size small and the sizing as a shell is perfect. I usually wear XS/S, and this size gives me enough room to layer a small puffer underneath, but it still fits nicely when I wear it on its own.
